  13.             Here's a Spanish teacher like you've never seen  before.
  14.        By  using  a  Sound  Blaster, it recites words in English and
  15.        Spanish as clear  and  concise  as  you'll find anywhere.  In
  16.        fact when I first loaded it,  it  startled  me  as  I  wasn't
  17.        expecting  a  voice  as  clear  as  it was.  Here is truly an
  18.        educational program that will  indeed  teach your child basic
  19.        Spanish.

  21.             Installation was a simple procedure using  the  included
  22.        INSTALL  program.  Once installed, all you need to do is load
  23.        the program and a very  colorful menu appears.  You'll have 9
  24.        choices.   Most  of  the  program  is  aimed  at  very  young
  25.        children.  In fact, they don't need to be able to read to use
  26.        the program.  But, you will want to use it with them.  You'll
  27.        have a good time with it as well.

  29.        "Keyboard Banger 123" - When the child presses a  number,  it
  30.        will  be spoken in English and Spanish.  There is also a nice
  31.        kaleidoscope displayed while it's waiting  for a number to be
  32.        pressed.

  34.        "Your Phone No.  Is" - This part  of  EARLY  SPANISH  teaches
  35.        your  child  his phone number and an EMERGENCY number.  These
  36.        are entered by you using the "Adult Control" explained below.

  38.        "Find The Number" - The computer will recite a number and the
  39.        child tries to  find  it  on  the  keyboard.  Here, there are
  40.        encouraging words even when they get it wrong.

  42.        "Easy Counting" - This is  a  little  game  where  the  child
  43.        counts the colorful balloons.
  44.        
  45.        There  is  also  an  Addition  Game, Subtraction Games, and a
  46.        simple drawing program.   In  every  drill  or  game, all the
  47.        words are spoken in English and Spanish.

  49.        "Adult  Control"  -   With   this   option   you   can   turn
  50.        Spanish/English ON/OFF, change the phone numbers, or turn the
  51.        Kaleidoscope  ON/OFF.   It  even tells you how to record your
  52.        own voice for inclusion in the program.

  54.        The Shareware version of  EARLY SPANISH teaches numbers only.
  55.        However, when  you  register,  you'll  receive  the  ADVANCED
  56.        version  with  the  Alphabet, words, reading, spelling, and a
  57.        FREE program.  With a  modest  fee  of  $29,  I'd call this a
  58.        pretty good deal!  Even  if  you  aren't  interested  in  the
  59.        program  itself,  at  least check out the excellent voices in
  60.        EARLY SPANISH.  They're truly amazing.
